Story Behind the Bag
In the 1980s, Miuccia Prada changed luxury fashion as we now know it, by introducing nylon to the runway. Prada discovered a factory making parachutes for the military, weaving super-thin thread on 19th-century machines. She decided to make this industrial Pocono nylon into a backpack, a style not traditionally carried by women. Fast forward four decades where Prada bags made of nylon are definitely considered luxury. This leopard print crossbody is no exception. With a detachable silver chain, you can wear this over the shoulder for a night out or carry it in your hand as a clutch.
