Egyptian-born Parisian Gaby Aghion founded Chloé in 1952. Her vision was to offer an alternative to couture - a new concept at the time, known as Ready-to-Wear. Today the label, headed up by the Uruguayan designer Gabriela Hearst since 2020, is best known for their expertly crafted pieces with a retro sensibility.
