Marc Jacobs delved into the Louis Vuitton archives when designing the Monceau satchel bag, released in 2001. Made from the brand's monogram canvas, featuring the recognisable quatrefoil pattern, circle, flower and ‘LV’ logo symbols designed by Vuitton’s son Georges in 1896, it’s silhouette resembles that of a briefcase scaled down in size. Carried by a top handle and adjustable strap, the satchel is secured by a logo-engraved clasp, appearing as a luggage lock with a set of keys, on the front flap sitting upon a patch pocket. It opens to a canvas-lined interior with a zip pocket and the logo stamped inside.

Treat the bag you've ordered with the love and respect it deserves during your time together, so other members can get as much joy out of it as you. If you’re worried about any marks at all, always speak to us first so we can advise on the best action to take. In general, kindness goes a long way— the bags in our collection much prefer to sit on your lap than the floor, for example, and don't love feeling overstuffed. We inspect each bag upon return, and we’ll let you know if there’s any issues at all.
