LOUIS VUITTON Speedy 25 in Damier Azur Canvas 2012
Out with Member
In 1854, Louis Vuitton was founded as a luggage maker and by 1930, the Speedy was the Parisian brand’s first handbag for everyday wear instead of specific travel use. Yet it wasn’t until 1959, under actress Audrey Hepburn’s request, that the Speedy 25 (measuring 25cm in width) was introduced. Cut from one piece of fabric, this modern iteration is in the 2006 Damier Azur canvas, white and blue to the original 1888 Damier brown checkerboard. Topped with twin handles and fastened with a zip, the roomy interior reveals a slip pocket. Carry alongside both office or casual wear to prove its versatility.
Story behind the bag
1 MONTH LIMIT: This is one of our extra special, limited-access bags, so you can only have 1 month with it, not 3. Make the most of your time together then swap it for something new.
Treat the bag you've ordered with the love and respect it deserves during your time together, so other members can get as much joy out of it as you. If you’re worried about any marks at all, always speak to us first so we can advise on the best action to take. In general, kindness goes a long way— the bags in our collection much prefer to sit on your lap than the floor, for example, and don't love feeling overstuffed. We inspect each bag upon return, and we’ll let you know if there’s any issues at all.

How do you grade your bags?
To ensure your order meets your expectations, we determine each bag’s condition before listing it on our website and share this condition grade on each bag’s page. Some of our vintage styles and classic bags have already lived a full life (if only bags could talk…) and may show unavoidable signs of light wear. We have designed a straightforward condition grading matrix to fairly value and categories our styles, using an 6-letter grading system. If you have any questions regarding our condition grading, please contact our membership team.
