CHRISTIAN DIOR Trotter Saddle Canvas Shoulder Bag in Khaki
Out with Member
From the street to the runway, the Noughties have had a strong comeback recently and we’re excited for a new generation to discover Christian Dior’s Trotter Saddle bag. Debuted in 2000 under the creative direction of John Galliano, it was then seen on the arm of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City and various celebrities. Honoured by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the saddle-shaped silhouette with magnetic ‘D’ stirrup clasp is cut from the iconic Trotter pattern originally designed by Marc Bohan and assembled by hand. Wear over the shoulder with everything from simple jeans and tee to a little black dress and a red lip.
Story behind the bag
1 MONTH LIMIT: This is one of our extra special, limited-access bags, so you can only have 1 month with it, not 3. Make the most of your time together then swap it for something new.
Treat the bag you've ordered with the love and respect it deserves during your time together, so other members can get as much joy out of it as you. If you’re worried about any marks at all, always speak to us first so we can advise on the best action to take. In general, kindness goes a long way— the bags in our collection much prefer to sit on your lap than the floor, for example, and don't love feeling overstuffed. We inspect each bag upon return, and we’ll let you know if there’s any issues at all.

How do you grade your bags?
To ensure your order meets your expectations, we determine each bag’s condition before listing it on our website and share this condition grade on each bag’s page. Some of our vintage styles and classic bags have already lived a full life (if only bags could talk…) and may show unavoidable signs of light wear. We have designed a straightforward condition grading matrix to fairly value and categories our styles, using an 6-letter grading system. If you have any questions regarding our condition grading, please contact our membership team.
