Chanel’s Quilted Camera Case bag is a rare find and for good reason. Taking on a rectangular shape and crafted from quilted lambskin leather, it’s part of the classic collection with inspiration dating back to 1955 when Coco Chanel first introduced the 2.55 handbag. The quilting references the jackets worn by stable boys and the idea to add the chain strap interlaced with soft leather came from giving women the same ease as men’s military satchels draped across the body. The silver-toned interlocking CC logo is positioned below a slip pocket at the front and the zip fastening opens up to reveal one interior compartment. Honour Coco Chanel and hang on the shoulder to keep hands free.
