Common questions

I’ve just signed up, what happens next?

Welcome! Once you have checked out with a COCOON membership, our approval process includes two key steps: ID verification and a soft background credit check.

You will be asked to confirm your identity through our secure third-party ID verification partner where you will be required to submit a photo of your government-issued ID. This will then be matched with a live selfie to prove your identity alongside the ID provided.

Please note that your COCOON application is not complete until you have completed the ID verification process. Once your application has been approved, we will send your first bag order to you!

Do you have a minimum term for memberships?

Yes, our monthly memberships have a minimum term of 60 days and 90 days for quarterly memberships.

How many bags do I get each month?

You can have one bag at a time with all of our memberships, up to two with our Platinum membership. From your second membership charge onwards, you can purchase weekly Bag Passes to access a second bag from the full collection for one week at a time.

How long can I keep a bag?

Each borrowing period is either one or three months, depending on the bag. You can return it anytime within this period and choose a new bag straight away.

What if the bag I like is currently out with a member?

If there is a bag you love that is currently with another member, simply heart it or tap Notify Me. It will be added to your Wishlist and you will receive email alerts whenever it becomes available. You can manage your notification preferences for each saved bag at any time.

You can also request to reserve a bag and our membership team will do their best to arrange this for you. Just email membership@cocoonclub.co.uk.

What happens if a bag is damaged?

Normal wear and tear is covered. Significant damage may incur a repair fee.

Can I pause or cancel my membership?

Yes, you can pause or cancel your membership after you have completed your minimum term. To cancel, email us at membership@cocoonclub.co.uk at least 5 business days before your next charge date.

Can I get a membership if I am not in the UK?

Not at the moment, sorry! Membership is currently only available to UK residents. However, our ReSale pieces are available to ship internationally!
