Collection: Fendi • Peekaboo Bags

It began in a small boutique in the heart of Rome, founded in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi.

The Fendi Peekaboo, was designed by Silvia Venturini-Fendi who at the time, was the  Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear. Venturini-Fendi designed the open silhouette bag as a way to display the luxurious materials the brand uses even inside the bag. Much like the tradition of passing on oral games to children, the Fendi Peekaboo is a classic that can be passed onto the next generation.

Since inception, the Fendi Peekaboo has served as a cornerstone for cult classic bags.

The understated trapezoid structure is instantly classic: and offers a sleek, recognisable shape. There’s a single top handle, and an optional shoulder strap. While seemingly simple, it’s all in the details; beautiful calfskin leather, intricate stitching, edge-painted sides.

The term, Selleria, refers to the type of leather, Cuoio Romano leather, a textured calfskin leather.
