LOUIS VUITTON Saintonge Shoulder Bag in Black Empreinte Leather
Out with Member
Louis Vuitton’s iconic Saintonge shoulder bag was first introduced in 2018 in the monogram canvas created by the founders son, Georges and first appeared on luggage in 1896. A year later, the quatrefoils, flowers and logo symbols were etched out of the finest leather and it was named the Monogram Empreinte, as seen here. The boxy silhouette with round edges, inspired by the camera pouch, is decorated with a gold-toned diamond plaque and playful tassels. Secured with a zip, this iteration is carried by the Pochette Metis bag’s handle and finished with an interior pocket. Hold it or with the adjustable strap drape it across the body.
Treat the bag you've ordered with the love and respect it deserves during your time together, so other members can get as much joy out of it as you. If you’re worried about any marks at all, always speak to us first so we can advise on the best action to take. In general, kindness goes a long way— the bags in our collection much prefer to sit on your lap than the floor, for example, and don't love feeling overstuffed. We inspect each bag upon return, and we’ll let you know if there’s any issues at all.

How do you grade your bags?
To ensure your order meets your expectations, we determine each bag’s condition before listing it on our website and share this condition grade on each bag’s page. Some of our vintage styles and classic bags have already lived a full life (if only bags could talk…) and may show unavoidable signs of light wear. We have designed a straightforward condition grading matrix to fairly value and categories our styles, using an 6-letter grading system. If you have any questions regarding our condition grading, please contact our membership team.
